An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Care Assistant to join a medium-sized residential care home based in Sheffield specialising in elderly care.

The home are recruiting for senior care assistants to join their experienced and qualified care team on permanent contracts.

Please see details below:

• 12.50 – 13ph with pay increase in April
• 8-8 shift times
• Days or Nights available

Requirements of the Senior Care Assistant Role:

• Proven experience as a Senior Care Assistant within a residential home or similar environment
• Previous experience in administering medication is required
• NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or higher

Responsibilities of the Senior Care Assistant Role:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting
• Manage a team of care assistants
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
