As Lead Clinical Pharmacist, you will be the primary practitioner for ward-based pharmacy services within your chosen specialty. Available clinical areas include:
You will work closely alongside the consultants, nursing and extended team to advise on and recommend therapeutic options, identify anomalies and lead on medicines optimisation in your area. You will also be supervising your team’s clinical practice, assisting in skill development and devising new protocols in line with evidence-based recommendations.
Innovation is key within the department and you will also be able to contribute a number of ongoing projects, including the full automation of medicines management processes, implementation of virtual wards, and the enhanced involvement of prescribing pharmacists in the patient care journey.
This is a permanent Lead Clinical Pharmacist position, ideally full-time (37.5h) although part-time and other flexible options can be considered.
