About the roleYou will be expected to lead and deliver a proportion of day opportunity activities as part of the planned programme and as an opportunity to provide practice leadership to the wider team. This role also includes building effective working relationships with local authorities, be great at developing new partnerships and liaising on behalf of Hft as appropriate ensuring the reputation of the organisation is maintained. The postholder will collaborate closely with families and carers to ensure supported individuals have access to meaningful activities, and are able to develop social and life skills that will enable them to make choices and take control of their lives. The postholder will be accountable for the wellbeing of supported individuals, giving adequate support to maximise their dignity, independence, and privacy.About youAs a minimum you will be required to have a Level 4 or equivalent Lead Practitioner Diploma in Adult Care or hold a Level 3 Diploma and be willing to undertake this apprenticeship qualification within an agreed reasonable timescale as part of a development plan (at no cost to you)
