A Day in the Life of a Community Psychiatric Nurse:

As a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse specializing in mental health, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch healthcare services. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting multi-disciplinary assessments of patients’ mental health conditions.
• Developing and implementing personalized care plans.
• Administering necessary treatments.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices and specialized skills for comprehensive patient interventions.
• Collaborating seamlessly with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records adhering to professional standards.
• Staying abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in mental health.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Current and valid registration with the NMC.
• Proven experience in a community psychiatric nursing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Working Hours and Contract Duration:

This role requires flexibility with working hours from Monday to Friday, offering a 3 to 6-month contract.
