Working Pattern: Two hours per week, per school, term-time only (39 Weeks per year)

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, talented clerk who is seeking the flexibility of part-time working to support the Local Governing Body in various schools across the Trust. Local Governing Body meetings are held three times a year at each school, plus one pay committee per school/per year. We have a range of opportunities on offer in locations including Slough, Hillingdon, Surrey, South West London and Kingston and would be happy to discuss the options available. Please note that some meetings are held in the evening.
You will have a key role in promoting the effective governance of the Trust and ensure proceedings are conducted in accordance with all relevant legislation/ regulations and established guidance. You will provide relevant support to Chairs in managing Local Governing Body meetings, draft agendas, produce accurate and concise minutes of meetings, maintain information on membership and advise the Local Governing Body on procedural matters where appropriate. You may also be asked to support ad-hoc Panel meetings.
You will be offered job specific training, as well as ongoing support from the Governance Manager and you will have the opportunity to network with other clerks.
